Will you, at any point, program the Turrets to be tangible, like the rest of the tank? It would be nice to be able to shoot the turret of a tank and kill it, not just the body. Plus, it would make it a bit easier to flip yourself back over.

I agree. It is very...weird to see tips of railguns and thunders sticking out of a thin wall. Not lifelike at all.

+1 means you agree, basically. It was originally +1 Jesus point, but it turned into an uber meme type thing

I would think just the body of the turret should be solid, if the barrel was solid, you couldn't snipe.

At some of the tests i think it was like you said. At least the testing tools have physics on the turrets.

But the thing is like that, the nasty long rail turret won't let you move in the city. If it has physics then it always hit's the walls and moving your tank becomes a total headache.

I know that. But that's how it would happen in real life, am I correct?

In real life, tank turrets are self-leveling, have a reticle, and a fire about 5 shots/min. Also, they're way more accurate, and tank battles take place over huge distances.. like miles. Tanks don't normally battle each other in cities in real life, and when they do, they're not too big that they have limited fields of vision from the turret. Just... make the main body of the turret solid... not the barrel(s)

^no... I'm saying make the bodies of the turrets solid, but not the barrels. the only difference would be that your turret doesn't go into the ground when you land on your top... and when people jump onto you.

it'd be like on a real tank, but the barrel wouldn't be solid, just the turret itself.
