Utility to modify tanks and colours.

Download this little application, whitch allows you to apply your beloved materials and textures to the real tanks.(you can simply see the tanks in the game painte das you like.)
Just simply modify the config.xml file or replace the images in the specified folder.
You can also create ot modify tank models.
The models have to be short in size, low in vertex number so it is appropritae to be viewd in a real game.

There was a contest for new colors before, but if a your work is astonishing, then hopefully it will end up in the garage, available for everyone to buy.
But if you mean you create anything and others will your tank in that look, that can't be possible.

Also why this options its not open for all players in game ?

More skins - more buy options , some players win cristals , but lots of players i think buy new skins ...

In my opinion it's nothing interesing if i see my skin and other player not .

And second way ; maybe in the game if its possbile open options , for special skins for clans ? Its inique .

An ability to create new paints is open to everyone. Adding paints to the game is a different question, as new paintjobs contain resists and require some balancing. Also, adding a large number of player-created skins to the game will increase the download size for everyone. From what I know, in the future there will be another contest for new paints. Meanwhile, you can post your paintjobs (texture + picture of the tank wearing it) here.

I don't understand how we are supposed to upload the config file? To what server? If we edit the images or config file, where do we upload the file in order to see the skin changes?

You shouldn't upload anything!

Can you see your new skins just in the tankViewer.swf? Then you have donr it right.

Just send an screenshot of the tank, and the texture you used right here in a new post, and hopefully if the community likes it, it will end up in the garage.

It's up to the Developers to upload it to the server!

I see, I thought I saw some tanks with custom skins but I guess I mistook them for skins in the shop.
