I would recommend Prism, by Mozilla (same people who make Firefox). This program allows you to create an site-specific (in our case, Tankionline.com) browser that can be accessed from your Desktop by an icon it will create. There are many components of a traditional browser that you do not need active when you are on a specific internet site. Since Prism does not load those components up, the window you open to access our website will run faster and smoother.

BTW, you want Prism (stand-alone application), not Prism Firefox Extension.

I tried the Prism standalone, anytime I try to play tanki it says I need flash player installed,which I do I even tried redownloading Flashplayer. Any ideas Bill

What browser are you using? Make sure you have the current Flash Player build (The current Flash Player version is 10.1.85.3). Go to this web page: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplayer.html. Click on the Test your current player version link to see if Adobe sees your Flash Player installed.

If everything seems to be correct, but it still is not working, then go to this web page http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html and follow the instructions i to completely uninstall Flash Player. Make sure you restart your computer when finished. Then go to this page http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplayer.html to reinstall it.

Browser is explorer, I have the newest Flash Player. I uninstalled then reinstalled flash player. Tanki works when I open it in flash player or by going to the web sight with my browser,but when I try with Prism Tanki says I need to install flash player

I understand now. You need to have Firefox installed on your computer. Even though you are using Prism separate from Firefox, it still needs the core applications of Firefox.

IMHO, IE is not as good or safe as Firefox or Opera. I would recommend using them, instead of IE. While I do use both (Firefox and Opera), my primary is Firefox. I never use IE. However, never uninstall IE. If you are using a Windows platform, it will only update through IE. In case you are curious, my job is personal computer on-line security.

Firefox and Prism works very well, it's the only way I play tankin now almost no lag

Only thing i get is a green screen...

It means that the server is not online atm.

sorry for being off topic, but in the test server, after i enter the code..the window just disappears so it means i entered it correctly but then nothing appears just the normal background
