This new version looks really good, but will there be a way to download the client for slow computers? because i have a laptop (3gb ram+1.60GHz processor) and it laggs a bit when there's a lot of players in the game, so if the game was downloaded am sure that it wouldn't lag as much, and i know it wouln't because of another game i play (it has wicked 3D graphics) and it laggs a bit when i play from the browser but not when i play it from the downloaded version.

1.60 GHz processor is not a very up-to-date CPU unless we are talking about Core2Dou series or the latest i3 i5 i7 Series from Intel. I am guessing it's a P4 family model... Available RAM memory is not too important in this case. Read my post on the first page of this topic regarding this. Maybe that will help you. Bottom line is that i think you need a more modern CPU

lol yeah ik, this laptop was my cousin's he bought it like 2 years go but he broke it so i fixed it and i didnt feel like waisting 600 bucks so i got it for free, i'll probably be buying another laptop soon, but for those people that have laptops and/or computers like me there should be another option so the gameplay is better

Rumor has it that Tanki 2.0 will be faster than current version...at least that is what player(user) Mehdadoo is saying. I don't have such info's but i am looking forward to play it . As for me, i have a Intel i5 on a Sony Vaio and a Core2Duo T9300 on a Dell Vostro. I have a desktop with Intel i7 but desktops are old news these days. On both laptops the game is running pretty smooth...but there is room for improvement .

No it's paint Winter for 1000 cryst
Winter paint has a blueish hue to it, that has like grey instead. It's like a tundra mixed with Winter.(I have winter, it doesnt look like that)

Btw, this was recorded on an internal testing server and released as a preview through the game blog @ http://blog.tankionline.com
2.0 will feature a heavy emphasis on the social component with profiles, chat channels, completely reworked moderation and social network integration. Stay tuned, it's gonna be fun!
Also, according to Anton Volkov (our game designer and CTO of Alternativa) 2.0 will be launched as a separate game. All your weapons, bodies and paints will be converted into crystals (the exact amount they've costed you, no % or anything) and all power-ups will be transferred. As of right now, I am not sure about accounts, but at least your nicknames will be reserved so noone else can use them.

Thank you so much for converting all of our items back into crystals! Now I won't have all those useless paints and 1st generation tanks in my garage anymore! Tank you! (=P)

I have some questions about 2.0 being a separate game:
1) Will the crystal convertion be in the 1.0 version?
2) Will we be able to use those converted crystals in the 2.0 version?
3) Will the crystals we already have in our bank be added to those converted crystals?
4) Will there be a server for only english speaking players? (some people have no knowledge about Russian language -people like me- and it is not very easy trying to co-operate with people that you dont understand)
PS: yes i know that questions 1 and 2 might not be necessary to ask but it would make people a little more safer about their accounts being transfered.

Sorry I forgot to mention the source of the trailer when I opened this topic. I took it from Alternativa's blog, where else ?
