FAQ: What is a Clan?

At this point, Clans in Tanki are not much more that simply groups of players that decided to play together. Why do players organize into such groups? There are many reasons, such as to help each other in battles, to learn to play as a team or to coordinate the battles through a voice chat such as Skype.

At this point, the real clan system is still under development, and therefore any input on this subject is valuable. Here are the answers to certain frequent questions that reflect the current vision of the clan system by the administration:

Will we have to pay to create a clan?
Yes.

What will we need to create a clan?
Crystals, rank.

Will there be a common 'money pot' from which clan members will be able to borrow?
Yes.

What will be the maximum number of players in a clan?
We are not sure yet, but there is a possibility that you will be able to assign a certain rank to your clan depending on how many fighters you've got.

Will there be a possibility of assigning specific paint job to your clan's tanks?
Definitely.

Will clans have symbols?
Yes, they will. Those symbols will be located next to the fighter's callsign.

Will there be some form of a clan rating table?
Yes.

Will there be inter-clan competitions with prizes?
Yes.

And of course the eternal question of when is this going to be done?
Realistically, we're speaking of the late March to early April timeframe.

For this question & answer will the leader of the clan be able to make there own symbol?

What will be the maximum number of players in a clan?

i am a clan leader,and i have 49 members and im pretty sure i will have more so im
thinking a little over 150 should be the max

How much will it have to be i would like to know ahead of time so i could be prepared

One symbol per clan, made by the clan.

No idea. Programming for this has no even begun yet.
