Refresh page. It always works for me: (my two best ever games i got a "connection closed" halfway through, refreshed the page, and got my points back)

You have two minutes to come back when it happens. Just press F5.

16 hour long games, you may be running into the server restart time. refreshing should help, also if playing on a overloaded server this sometimes happens, change servers. i get connection closed in bad weather occasionally as well. i hope you're dilema is fixed soon if not you may need to email the help admins.
