4 Million players, each spending hundreds of dollars per year...

[b]I swear -- hardly a day goes by that there is not a problem accessing tanki online, especially after 10 p.m. (EDT).

4 Million players, each spending hundreds of dollars per year, and this place has trouble staying open 24/7!

A business like Tanki located in the U.S.A. would find a way to perform maintenance & upgrades without any major disruptions.............

This business of being bumped-off of servers in mid-battle, and servers running very slowly while we await the arrival of Tanki 2.0 is totally unacceptable by any American standard.

P.S. I am a player who enjoys Tanki when it's working, but I don't think the disruptions are cool.

First, there aren't 4 million players. There are 4+ million accounts. Do you know how many make multiple accounts for various duplicitous reasons? Their number is legion. There exist many reasons to be dissatisfied with much in life, the world. Until you've created something Like Tanki, you might be more gracious with your criticisms. After all, the game remains free. You may spend if you wish, but those minions, millions, also enjoy the opportunity for free play. Most net games require spending; Tanki does not.

I'm a fan, too, and I appreciate what is opposed to ranting about what could, might, should be.

MadDog, you've got to be joking. You know, as well as I do that in order to advance and compete, you must purchase crystals. You can try to play "for free", but you won't be very competitive. I see tanks and turrets all the time that cost plenty money (Viking, Mammoth, w/Thunder, Richochet, etc.) The players who are very competetive keep their tanks well-stocked with consumables also (which have been purchased).

Not only that, but entrepreneurs who put the website together should be more considerate of consumer feedback. When you pay good money, you expect good service. So, let's not pretend that after upgrading one's tank and entering battle, that it's good business policy for players to be suddenly closed-out from the server; this has happened to me recently, and I'm sure that I didn't get any battle points for what would have been a win in Iran.

Does it really make sense that 18 servers are available, each capable of handling about 1200 players, and that all are shut-down at the same time for whatever reason? A thoughtful businessman would find a way to maybe take 50% offline for maintenance, etc. while keeping the other 50% open for business.

I agree that the developers of Tanki have done a decent job of creating a fun game. I also understand that the Tanki team is busy preparing for the installation of Tanki 2.0, and from what I've seen on Youtube, it looks nice.

But, sometimes, the Admin seems more prone to scolding complainers moreso than listening and responding.

Bravo I think you're wrong.. I never purchased anything, but know I have a lot of things M3.. If you start from Private to work in an intelligent way to get crystal, when you reach Marshal you will have so much crystal to spend that you think that are too much!

I think that the best way to play TO is getting your preferite group of weapons M3 on your preferite M3 tanks, with 2-3 best Paint that you want.. I think is useless having all M3. Because you won't use some weapons again, same for tanks.

I play in that way and now I'm near to get hornet M3, Dictator M3 with M3 isida, railgun and thunder, with 3 paint that now I don't know.
I'm only Sec. Liut, think when I reach Marshal, I really think that what I want now I will have all

In other thinking, if you say that you must pay to be competitive. I say another time that is not true. I play as I said, with what I have, drugs of the day bonus and all my (don't purchased by money) weapons, and I still playing so good that if I enter in a battle most of the time I reach the 3 first places (it happenz too with team with Marshal with ALL M3!!!).

People, not every player that got M3 most be a buyer, i seen people getting over 5,000 crystals from a battles, 0uchie isnt buyer but he got referral koolwalky and he has earned over 40,000 crystals now from his referrals! (The picture isnt updated) and his only Warrant Officer!!

And I dont think tanki could be any better if it was located in U.S.A because most of the players are from Russia/Ukraina and etc. I sure that if it was located in U.S.A than most of the players would have problems to connect/play.
And have you forgotten that the game based on flash player??! so dont complain about that there miner failure.
And here tips: play on empty servers,play after the server reset, play when there less than 15,000 players, Buy faster computer+internet if the game running "slowly" for you

1) You're probably questioning my claim that most people at Tanki purchase crystals by pointing to an an exception. I'm not sure that most players at Tanki earn thousands of crystals by referring hundreds of players to Tanki. Tanki awards crystals to players who refer their friends because they understand that it helps build their business, and that those players referred will probably make purchases. Stop pretending that the management at Tanki is providing a totally free online gaming service--they would go broke doing that.

2) You may not think it would be any better if it was located in the U.S.A., but I do. Customer satisfaction is a priority for U.S. businesses; and, I see no reason why players in Russia/Ukraine would have trouble connecting. That said, I can also see where the Russian businessmen who developed Tanki are onto something good, and are improving their product. I understand some of the challenges of getting a business up and running, and this may be a new experience for them. In America, businesses value customer feedback (complaints/suggestions), because it helps them provide a better service or product.

3) I am aware that the game is Flash-based. I'm also aware that FlashPlayer has plans to release a version of Flash that works better for such games as Tanki.

4) I can voice my complaint if I so desire.

5) I play on a desktop pc that is working just fine. The server disruptions are what cause the mid-battle disruptions that I experience.

6) Playing on empty servers is not smart--it tends to limit the choices you have for entering battles.

Bravo, Server's Bearly closes, also you don't have to buy crystals to play, you can earn them in battles and its free!!
